From Tiny Acorns
FROM TINY ACORNS…
What began as a seed of an idea, to create an environment where I could pass on the tips I learned
about getting my body strong to cope with breast cancer two years ago, has grown into something rather wonderful. Plans for the first four Fitter, Stronger fitness retreats at glorious Chewton Glen Hotel, on the edge of the New Forest, are complete and I’m looking forward to welcoming guests to our first weekend in May next year. When I started to create these breaks, I knew right from the start that I wanted James Cracknell to be involved and I was thrilled when he agreed. He has always grabbed life with both hands and embraces physical and mental challenges. He fought back from a serious head injury following a collision with a lorry while on his bike and ran the London Marathon this year in a very respectable 2 hours 50 minutes. He used exercise and nutrition to get there, just as I did when I was ill and wanted to be strong for my children. Our message is the same and I’m delighted to be working with James and with our expert fitness team, all of whom I’ve trained with and recommend. I’m very proud of what we do at Fitter, Stronger and look forward to sharing it with you.
