Fitter Stronger retreats are at four luxurious locations: Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, New Milton, Hampshire BH25 6SQ. Chewton Glen is situated on the edge of the New Forest, with grounds bordered by tranquil Highcliffe beach and the Solent. Amberley Castle is near Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9LT.  Amberley Castle is a luxurious 13th century Relais & Chateaux property, surrounded by glorious countryside.  Leeuwenbosch Country House, at Amakhala Game Reserve, one hour from Port Elizabeth, in South Africa’s glorious Eastern Cape. And La Vista Medina, Medina Sidonia, in beautiful, historic Andalusia.

You will need trainers, walking shoes and comfortable clothes to exercise in.  If you are visiting us in South Africa, bring a jacket, as evening game drives can be cool.  Dinner dress code at our retreats is smart casual.

We offer an itinerary designed to make the most of your location.  Do as many or as few activities as you wish.  All of our retreats offer exercise and a nutrition workshop.  You will also have use of the pool or spa, at your leisure.  Please enquire for further details.

If you are joining us in South Africa, in addition to the above, you will be able to join two daily game drives and enjoy a conservation talk by wildlife vet and conservationist Dr William Fowlds.

We encourage full participation where possible and scale exercise according to agility, ability and experience. However, this is your retreat, so join us for as many or as few activities as you wish.

Our exercise sessions are customised to suit your needs. When you book your place, you will be sent a health questionnaire to determine your physical ability and we create our classes accordingly.   If you exercise to a high level, we will work with you to achieve this.  If you are recovering from illness or injury, we will deliver a fulfilling and rounded programme of activity.

Experienced exercisers and complete beginners are made equally welcome. We will teach you all the techniques you need to exercise effectively and safely.

This varies according to location.  Please ask for details.  However, we set a maximum of places at each retreat, because we want to ensure we give you our full attention and that you have lots of opportunity to ask questions.

Your accommodation, all meals, all activities, talks and use of the spa or pool are included in the cost of your stay with us.  If you are joining us in South Africa, your game drives are also included.

FITTER STRONGER RETREATS

A deposit is payable on booking of a Fitter Stronger retreat.  Only when the deposit is received, is the booking confirmed.  The deposit is non-refundable.  The balance payment is due eight weeks before attendance.  In exceptional circumstances only, should a guest be unable to attend within eight weeks of commencement of the retreat, the balance payment may be transferred to the next available retreat, solely at the discretion of Fitter Stronger. Balance payments are non refundable.  Clients are required to complete a health and fitness questionnaire.  Our staff, activities and events may change from those advertised at short notice. In this instance, every effort will be made to offer suitable alternatives.
