During 24 years in the Parachute Regiment and Special Forces Support Group, Scott served in Iraq and Northern Ireland and was Senior Instructor on the Leadership Development course at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Alongside his military career, he pursued his passion for the great outdoors and when he left the Army, he qualified as an International Mountain Leader. He has led desert, Arctic, jungle and high altitude expeditions to sites including the Himalayas and Kilimanjaro, as well as climbs and hikes in the UK. He’s also a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
