A personal trainer for nine years, Mitch graduated in sports and exercise psychology at Canterbury Christchurch University. He has represented Kent in rugby and athletics, specialising in the 200 metre sprint.
“To guide a wide range of clients as they change not just their fitness and health, but their whole lifestyle for the better, is hugely rewarding. Kirsty, aged 20, shattered her thigh bones, cranium, wrists, fractured her spine and lost her sight and hearing on her left side, following a motorcycle accident. She suffered from seizures and had no sense of balance. Slowly, we worked to improve her fitness and diet and her confidence grew. Last year, she completed her first 5k race. I’ve trained exercise novices and athletes. All I ask for is 100 per cent effort. If you give that, you will succeed.” Mitch Sherwood
