Our Fitter, Stronger philosophy
Fitter, Stronger is a sustainable, realistic approach to exercise and nutrition, that fits in with busy lives. We offer luxury health-boosting retreats, with guest speakers including double Olympic gold medalist James Cracknell and a top team of nutritionists and fitness professionals, weekly classes and personal training.
Our retreats are set in peaceful, rural locations – Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, on the edge of the New Forest and bordered by Highcliffe beach, and Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa, in Kent. You’ll be guided on a hike, take part in cardio, bodyweight and core exercises to develop strength and stamina and unwind in gentle Pilates classes, with our expert coaches. All exercise is scaled for individuals, according to ability and agility. We work with complete beginners, those recovering from illness and injury and those who have exercised all their lives.
You’ll enjoy delicious, filling, nutrient-dense food and learn how to keep your body efficiently fuelled, so it can serve you well in the future. And our speakers will help motivate you and join you for dinner.
We run weekly two-hour classes at Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa, which include exercise, nutrition advice and goal setting, suitable for all ages and abilities.
Our personal training is by appointment and focused on individual goals.

Enjoy two hours of confidential assessment, tailored exercise, nutrition advice and motivation with our expert team. If you have lost body confidence or want to return to exercise following illness or injury, let us help you set new goals and work towards them, week by week.
I can highly recommend Paula for personal training. She has been great for me, very supportive and knows her stuff. I even had a session with my two year old son in the room and Paula was so good with him, too. She's very motivational and ready ready to help.
Dear Paula, What a fun weekend, full of laughs and memories are definitely made of times like this. I have seen us all grow in confidence and health in these few days away. I'm going to resume walking again, it's something I always used to do. I was inspired by Scott and that really appeals to me as it makes the journey more important than the destination which is the way I feel I benefit from living my life now. What a wonderful idea it was for you to think your vision could become a reality and bring people like us together for a few days. I’m just reflecting on a fabulous fun weekend spent with a great group of people. My ribs still ache from laughing!! Your philosophy has certainly had a profound effect on my outlook for my future wellbeing and I congratulate you and your team for inspiring us all. Morning Paula, I hope you have had some time to relax since you got home.
